I’m Filip Gotovina, the filmmaker behind The Frame Factory. I’m drawn to honest emotion, beautiful light and the small things that make a wedding feel like you. My approach brings together cinematic composition, natural moments and an edit that follows the rhythm of your day.

We begin with a conversation about what you want to remember: the preparations, the ceremony, your families, the speeches or the party. That conversation shapes the coverage and the proposal.

From Dalmatia to the rest of Croatia

The Frame Factory is based in Zadar and available for weddings across Croatia. Enquiries are welcome for Šibenik, Split, Dubrovnik, Istria, Kvarner, Zagreb and inland celebrations. We confirm each date and journey individually, with travel and any accommodation discussed as part of your proposal.

Planning your wedding from abroad

You might be returning to Croatia to celebrate with family, or choosing it for the first time as your wedding destination. We can get to know each other over a video call in English or Croatian. Share your venue, ceremony plans and the people or traditions you want your film to remember.

A film shaped around your celebration

A small ceremony, a full wedding day and a celebration with several locations call for different plans. We start with your schedule, then agree the hours of filming and the films you will receive. There is room for the ceremony, the voices of your favourite people and the energy of the evening, without making the day feel like a film set.

Where do you film weddings?

Our home is Zadar, and we are available for weddings across Croatia: Dalmatia, Istria, Kvarner, Zagreb and inland locations. Availability and travel arrangements are confirmed individually for your date and venue.

How much does wedding videography cost?

Your proposal depends on the hours of coverage, the locations, travel and the films you would like to receive. Send your date and an outline of the day; we will put together a clear offer with the coverage, deliverables and any travel costs before you book.

Can you cover preparations, the ceremony and the evening?

Yes. We agree the start and finish around the moments you want covered. Include transfers between locations in the schedule, especially if your day involves a ferry or a longer drive. This helps us choose enough time without rushing the celebration.

Do you offer photography and video together?

You can enquire about video on its own or a combined photography and film proposal. For a combined service, we first check the photographer’s availability and confirm the team and deliverables with you.

Can we plan everything while living abroad?

Of course. We communicate in Croatian and English and can arrange a video call to get to know you, discuss the atmosphere you want and review your schedule. You do not need to be in Croatia to make the initial arrangements.
